My students are AP Environmental Science high school seniors at a high performing, small charter school in California. They learn quickly and constantly challenge themselves to learn more and consistently surpass my high expectations. AP Environmental Science is a field work course that is supplemented by field trips where they can perform investigations and take part in hands-on learning. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, this is not a possibility as we do not have funding for buses or the support staff these trips would require.
