My students need two sets of LEGOS and a set of ten Minifigures, an incredibly creative toy, but can also be used to support work in a number of different curriculum areas. Students enjoy using their imagination creating by using LEGO's. Students can create a scene using some minifigures and use this as a writing prompt or they could create scenes for each other! Students can also build scenes to represent the beginning, middle and end of a story, create a set of written instructions to teach somebody how to create a simple Lego model, take photos of the steps in the creation of a Lego model and use these images to make an instruction book. LEGOS can also be used for calculating, sorting, patterning and problem solving!
