My students come from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom struggle socially and economically. As a small school, the resources available to larger schools simple are not there. I do what I am able to personally to provide books to read in a variety of genres and formats. Many students have no access to technology at home. The projects for which I seek funding will help to provide literary resources not otherwise available to my students. My students are passionate and hardworking, and they are amazed and appreciative when new things come their way. I want to provide them the world, but would be happy to give them a few amenities that will help them see the world and know the power of knowledge to help them grow.
