Many of my students come from single parent homes, military, or poverty stricken families. Buying school supplies is not always an option for the families of my students. My school provides as much of the supplies as possible, but I still spend a lot of my own money on things I need for my classroom. My kindergarteners come to school very eager to learn. They pick up knowledge so quickly, it amazes me! They go from learning the alphabet to reading books all in the course of a year....how AMAZING is that!! Because students are on so many different levels, it is important to have materials that meet the needs of each student.

About my class
