Our classroom is very hands-on and we learn a tremendous amount of information throughout the year. Along with social emotional skills we discuss a variety of topics including weather around the world, nature/trees and how it affects the way we live and others around us. We use books, play and discussion daily to discover new and exciting places and what’s happening across the globe. I would love to be able to use technology to get a more hands-on approach to up to date, right now facts to help increase my students knowledge of the world we live in. Along with science and social studies, access to technology for literacy and math activities would foster different ways to expand knowledge in those areas. Having access to a variety of teaching tools, including technology, helps engage students and encourages them to think outside the box. I really appreciate your support with bringing technology into my classroom so my students can continue to expand their wealth of knowledge in all areas of learning.
