Currently, my students have a limited number of drums to use, which makes it difficult to make sure that all students are able to play and experience drumming. Having more drums to use in the classroom will also allow me to teach the students different genres of music easier, such as world drumming. My students LOVE to play drums! Their faces light up when they see our one conga drum has been brought out. Having this set of tubano drums will allow more of my students the ablility to play on the "big drums." These drums will also allow my students to compare the sounds that different-sized drums make.
