The books and materials in this project will be utilized to deliver a comprehensive school counseling program at our campus. The school counseling department was not provide a budget this school year. The grief books will be utilized to offer grief support groups to students that have experienced grief and loss. I am so grateful that Amazon offered books from the Dougy Center which is the National Center for Grieving Children and Families. The other materials in this project, like the Rubik’s Cube and Mancala, will help provide multi-sensory interventions for students who need to take a break, reset, and reflect so that they can be their best selves in school and beyond.
