My students love to paint! My background is in painting and a lot of my projects involve using that medium. After hurricane Harvey, our students were split onto two different campuses. During this time, we lost a lot of supplies and furniture was damaged. At our host campus, our artwork is put on the floor to dry as our drying racks were damaged in the flood water after the hurricane. Our host campus graciously let us borrow a drying rack for our students, however, we will not have one when we return to our school next Fall. Getting a drying rack for our school art room will alleviate any issues of having to place artwork on the floor where it may get damaged or put wet paint on our newly renovated floors.
