Ms. Jackson's class needs to get organized! I am finally getting to teach my dream class, a self-contained ID class. I will have 15 students who are considered "intellectually disabled." That means that they need smaller classes, more one-on-one teaching, and creative and engaging lessons. Since I will be teaching 4 core subjects in the same room, it will be very important for us to have structure in our procedures. The supplies in this project will allow my students to stay organized and stay hydrated. A shoe organizer will serve as a water bottle station. The plastic drawers will be used a supply stations for desk clumps. The wireless doorbell will be a fun way to get students attention. The tap lights will be a nonverbal way to communicate with the students about what volume level I would like them to use.
