These books will be used for our "Cookies and Conversations" student-parent book club! Increasing parent involvement in a student's learning produces a significant improvement in a child's language and reading skills. Also when parents model literacy habits, children will often follow. This will make a real difference in these students' lives because this book, Nobody's Secret, is young adult literature that appeals to many and this motivation will help them to develop into life-long readers alongside their parents! We will discuss the themes and connect the characters to their own lives. Help them to experience the mystery, drama, and poetry that a great novel can provide! Thank you.
