I have a large portion of students who struggle with their focus and attention throughout the day. Some of my students are resource students who receive pull-out assistance and others who constantly struggle to stay seated and on task. I have tested a bouncy band in my room and it was extremely beneficial for the students who used it. I believe that it will help each student when they are having a difficult time with their focus which in turn will help with both their behavior and academics. The whiteboards, markers, and erasers will change the way I am able to instruct during math. My students truly enjoy math but struggle with the practice at times. Providing them with their own personal materials to practice on will greatly improve our daily math practice. It will help me as their teacher conduct formative assessments throughout our math lessons as well as help the students engage in the concepts.
