My students come from a variety of backgrounds, most with very little academic support at home due to many circumstances, especially poverty and single parent homes. My students are motivated to succeed but have limited resources and exposure learning materials, including computers and books. Many students in my class are at a disadvantage due to a lack of resources. I feel strongly that with the right resources and positive support, my class will succeed in becoming strong students and world citizens. Although we have limited resources, we are lucky to be part of a beautiful school with a loving, nurturing faculty and staff.
