Many of the seniors I have been working with are headed to either a 2-year college or a 4-year college/university. Deciding to go to college is an incredibly important decision to make and this event will highlight and celebrate the successes my students have been receiving; Many have been accepted to multiple colleges and some are even receiving full-ride tuition scholarships. College Signing Day is a way for the students to showcase the fruit of their labor. At this event, we will be raffling off college essentials such as printer ink, meal prep containers, personal blenders, and school supplies. With your support, the items on this list will go towards creating college transition raffle baskets, these baskets will assist my students that will be moving away for school or commuting to a nearby college/university. My hopes for this event is to get my seniors excited for college and give my underclassmen motivation to chose to apply for college.
