What we really need is to fund the transportation piece of this project. The goal is to get charter buses to go from our school to the town of Goliad Once the students get to Goliad they will go to the Presidio La Bahia. A real Spanish army fort!! They will take part in a presentation followed by visiting the reenactor. They will then enjoy a walk through the museum and gift shop. They will then load the buses and go the the Goliad Mission. This is an authentic Catholic Mission built during the Spanish Colonial Era in Texas. This project will allow my students to experience history first hand. You can be a part of that!!
