As of 2017, the Texas Education Agency has allowed the use of calculators for mathematical operations on the 8th grade Science STAAR test. Unfortunately, because this was not allowed before, my classroom does not have its own set of calculators. Help my students calculate efficiently on the 8th Grade science STAAR Test! For many students at our school, doing mathematical operations on paper has been their Achilles heel. With your donation, you are affording a Cougar the opportunity to really prove themselves as top tier students.
