My students need a large screen TV to view their heart rates and healthy fitness zone during P.E. class. We recently purchased a new fitness technology called Heart Zone System. This system helps continue to motivate students while it also stresses the importance of exercising your heart and staying in a healthy fitness zone. Having a large screen where students are able to view their personal levels would allow them to enhance their performance and feel more responsible for their health. The system is similar to a FitBit or Apple Watch, but is specifically designed for the enhancement of P.E. classes. Each student wears a heart rate monitor around their forearm that provides real time feedback using sensors that help engage and motivate students to achieve their best fitness goals. The information is then projected onto a TV using different colors to represent their efforts. P.E. is a place where every student can be successful, every student can exercise, every student can learn new ways to stay healthy, and every student can have fun!
