The use of flexible seating in the classroom will give the students more opportunities to learn from different locations. Instead of the standard desk, let's do something different with stability balls and stools. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their own learning by making a choice that is best for them. Stability balls and stools will be available for students when movement is needed. This type of flexible seating will be used in the small group setting and in the every day classroom instruction. My students are always engaged and on task when allowed to work in different locations. The flexible seating will be beneficial in letting the students get comfortable for all the aspects of the learning environment!
