My classroom is made up of roughly 25 students who come from very diverse backgrounds and a wide range of needs. The class make up is African American, Hispanic, and Caucasian students. My classroom is filled with special education students along with EL students who have a great level of need in their language skills. Over 90% of students in my school qualify for free lunch and breakfast. Despite their circumstances, my students are the most loving, caring, and gracious kids I have ever met. They give love freely and only expect to be loved in return.
