A sense of teamwork and community is vital in our classroom to help foster positive interactions and relationships. To have a common space in our classroom to gather and share our experiences and feelings, while also learning academically is necessary to develop a sense of belonging within the learning environment. My students are excited to build a comfortable safe space to learn and develop strong relationships! We are building a central classroom location that provides maximum comfort for us all to gather and learn together. By having a carpet to start our day off gathered as a team, my students can foster a positive frame of mind to enter the learning day!

About my class
