My students are curious and eager to learn, they are not afraid to take risks. In this era of high stakes testing, I encourage students to be "in the moment" and enjoy the journey of learning, rather than learning to simply answer test questions. Our classroom is a safe haven where students can question each other, "Look that up," or "How do you know that?" can often be heard. Students are encouraged to question what is known, and realize, "We don't know, what we don't know."
