Welcome friends. family and ALL others!! I am a proud elementary teacher of 11 years! I have had the joy of teaching Kindergarten, 1st grade as well as 2nd grade and I am currently a 3rd grade teacher in my current district. There are so many rewards that come with teaching but the one that means more to me than most, is when the lightbulb turns on because that child has executed those strategies that myself as a teacher has enforced and they are sincerely proud of themselves for their accomplishments. They now have, at times, a new found confidence in themselves. It is no secret that many teachers spend extra time and money to ensure that their students have the extra supplies that they need as well as other material used towards their success. I fit in that group. A prepared student is a successful student and I want all of them to have a fair change at being successful.
