This rug will provide room for learning activities while promoting the diverse cultures that are reflected in our English Language Education students. A successful ELE classroom fosters multiple opportunities and spaces for students to converse in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The classroom carpet often becomes the center for learning activities, including the beginning and end of most lessons, conversations with partners, and the sharing of our hard work. In an ELE classroom in particular, a seating option on a rug allows students to frequently turn and talk to partners to practice the English language without disruption of movement during a lesson. Please consider donating towards our goal and help create a currently bare floor into a comfortable learning area!
