Having a high quality pencil sharpener in my classroom will help my daily routines flow. As a reading and writing teacher, we are constantly writing in class! My students need access to an efficient sharpener so that we can sharpen multiple pencils in the morning and have fewer interruptions throughout our class time. The handheld pencil sharpeners do more harm than good and constantly make messes. I have had several smaller electric sharpeners, and they never last me more than one school year. I would love for my students to have easy access to sharp pencils each day so we can write!
