I am an English teacher and always have used as much technology as I can in the classroom to differentiate my lessons to reach EVERY student. I was recently trained on how to use Google Classroom to teach my students to write essays, and I love how I can give them better feedback. Using Google Docs students were able to access work anywhere they had a device. With Google Classroom, I am able to guide them in every step of their writing. I even made a training video to show one of my interactive writing strategies that was extremely successful with most of my students. My students picked up on using this powerful tool quickly. However, we have very limited technology. We only have 3 outdated desktops and one Chromebook (that was donated) for all of my students to share. We have struggled, but I still persevere because I know technology helps my students become college ready.
