Duval County has a diverse population making each school unique. In my classroom we have students from several different cultures and religions. It has added to our conversations and for many it's the first time my fourth graders have talked among friends about their differences. Students find confidence in my classroom to take risks, to be open minded, and to work through challenging texts. My students enjoy reading a variety of books and creating projects to demonstrate what they are learning. I treasure each day with my students and I look forward to learning from them.
