My classroom thrives on the determination and tenacity of of students and their sharing. Academic struggles do not diminish nor discourage my students and their goals to improve in whatever they set their minds on. Coming from an Assets Based Pedagogy, I see the varying strengths each child brings to our collaborative learning environment. You support directly translates to our goals of obtaining knowledge in as many different ways as possible. If at first we cannot succeed, then we must try, try again. I truly connect with this saying because I know from the bottom of my heart, that my students will never give up and never give in. It is because of your support that my students have the zest and zeal to never give up.
