Every year approximately 120 curious Kindergarten students enter the doors of our school for the first time. Some children come from subdivisions, while others live in trailer parks and apartments with grandparents, single parents, and other family units. Many speak different languages and some get off the bus for the first time not knowing any English. Several eagerly traipse to breakfast with hungry stomachs and enjoy a full meal at lunch for free. Others come with a lunch box packed with love notes, favorite foods, and an afternoon snack.
