The purpose of this project is to inspire students to want to read. I believe that starts with having books in the classroom library that peek student interests. The books in my current classroom library are limited and could use an update. Having books that students are interested in reading, will allow students to have a willingness to read. The books for this project will be used to cater to students' interest in reading. The class set of Wonder will be used to do a novel study at the beginning of the year. Students love this book, and it allows students to understand to respect others and their differences. The rest of the books are books that I selected, because my students in the past have shown interest in these types of books. Thank you so much for funding my project! It is much appreciated!
