Currently, I am trying to create a reading nook for my students. While I have been able to gather the other such as bookshelves, posters, and seating, I am still lacking books that the students are interested in. Some of the texts I have included in my project were requested by students. They were interested in having Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Hunger Game series. I have also included texts such "The Fault in our Stars" and "The Absolute True Diary of a Part-time Indian" which are currently very popular. By having a larger variety of books to read during independent reading time, I hope to spark my students love for reading!
