The number of students in my class vary each year between 20-26. Students come in with varying abilities, knowledge, and needs. It's my job to meet them at their level, help them grow at their own pace, while still achieving vigorous standards. Second grade is a big year for academic growth. It always amazes me how much students grow between September and June. Second grade is the bridge between the primary grades and the intermediate grades. I want to instill in my students a love of learning. I want to give them every opportunity to grow and reach their full potential as learners.
