My students need a new pencil sharpener that will not eat half of their pencil every time they sharpen it. Our classroom pencil sharpener thinks that it needs to destroy the pencils while sharpening them. To make matters worse, the pencil still comes out dull, short, and splintered. We need to be able to have a good, hardworking pencil sharpener. Since we are in the third grade, we will be taking a state test very soon. We take the pencil, paper test still and not the online version. Having a new pencil sharpener and pencils would help out our learning tremendously!
