My students are seventh and eighth graders that love to use technology to learn. To keep track of their progress and accomplishments, each student has an e-portfolio demonstrating Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking projects that they have done in my English class that school year, as well as their other classes. It would be really beneficial to have a scanner in class! My class currently uses my personal digital camera and takes a picture of their work and then we upload it into the computer; this takes some time with the largest class being 26 students. Having a scanner in class would be a big help!
