My twenty 5th graders are curious risk-takers, eager to learn. We all live in an urban community in central Maryland; our families are hardworking families, doing whatever they can for their kids. We are a very diverse community, with many challenges to overcome. Our school is very invested in the community. The school and the PTA work together to provide the best possible learning environment for the students. Our building is new, with environmentally friendly systems and a lot of state of the art technology. These wonderful advances help us provide a resource-rich environment for our students. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming place for our students to thrive and grow.
