Our athletes need to feel safe and supported in a sport that can take them out into oppressive heat and sun but also wind, rain and, by late October in Minnesota, possible freezing temperatures and snow. Most other teams have professional-looking tents and other gear; we want our kids to feel as important and as worthy as the kids from wealthy homes and buildings. Our kids are as important and worthy and while we can't give them everything we want, we would like to at least help protect them from the weather when it gets bad. We would like to purchase a canopy with side walls. This would allow us to provide shade in the heat of August, but would also provide shelter from wind, rain, and snow in September and October.
