I am focused on providing students with a culturally responsive classroom, and practice trauma informed care as well. I teach at a Title I, low income, school. My students have overcame many adverse experiences, and still desire to be educated. In my classroom, I try to provide my students with a valuable educational experience, as well as prepare them for the real world, where in spite of unfortunate childhood experiences, they will still be required to perform at high levels.
