Welcome to First Grade, one of the most critical years in a child's learning and development. My students live in a high poverty area, but one that is big on community. Many live in households where the budget is tight and money is only spent on the necessities. These students attend a K-5 elementary school within one of the poorest counties in the nation. Nevertheless, they are excited about learning and they come to school every day with hope, expectation and enthusiasm. I am asking that we partner together to help these students receive the education and supplies that are necessary for them to succeed. Your donation truly makes a difference.
