The students in my class are inner city students in Louisiana. I have 20 girls and 25 boys in both of my classes. My class is 99% African American and 1% Hispanic. Many of them are struggling readers, however they love chapter books, especially the ones we read as a class and discuss. Our School is an amazing school. We have close to 700 students per-k to 5th grade.
