With the new school year approaching, I will have five wonderful students in my classroom. Every day we work on regulating our bodies and following directions. As a classroom, we work on different specific goals based on individual IEP goals. Each of my students present themselves with different obstacles and our main goal is to ensure that they live the most independent and successful life as possible. We follow the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis to encourage growth in both behavioral and academic skills. Every day we work on strengthening our skills and advancing our knowledge. We continuously review and check for understanding since maybe concepts are difficult for my students to grasp. I am excited to see what these wonderful children can accomplish throughout this school year!
