My students are amazing! They are smart, kind, funny, and interesting. They are learning to love reading...one fantastic book at a time. And that love of reading is igniting a love for education. There are definitely some challenges in this neighborhood but the families and students are dedicated to their success. Growth on standardized tests is one goal that they are working towards, but the goal I have for them is to be life long readers, and good people. I think reading is so important for building quality human beings. Help me to help them become the best people they can be!
