Elective classes can be large. Some days, I have more students than desks. Acquiring floor pillows and lap desks will prevent students form having to stand or sit on the bare floor. An added benefit is that some students find the school desks very uncomfortable, so this will provide them with another seating option. Having floor seats, floor pillows, and lap desks can add comfortable seating and work space to an already full classroom. Students will now have the choice of sitting in a traditional desk, or using a large, soft floor pillow and lap desk to do their work in class. I will have seats for everyone!
