Students will use solar cells and hobby motors to create their own solar carnival! Students will understand the importance of solar and how it can power our daily lives. Students will have fun will learning about the way solar works and how it is used, while expressing creativity. They are Makers and a part of a bigger movement of doing and creating in order to master new and challenging academic skills. Students will share using collaboration, cooperation, creativity and critical thinking. They apply 21st century skills to work together, demonstrate leadership skills and create an attraction that is solely powdered by the sun! Upon completion, they will understand the power of solar and all of its capabilities.
