I am returning to the classroom after 10 years as an administrator and coach, and could not be more excited to meet my 6th graders this week! My students come from over 25 different towns in Greater Hartford to learn and grow in our school. They are a diverse group of students in every sense of the word. In my classroom, we strive to meet our individual reading goals while creating a community of learners. 6th grade is a key year for my students. They are entering middle school, taking on new academic and social challenges. I hope to help them navigate this new world with grace, kindness, and hard work.
