A major challenge is expecting my second graders to sit still and listen. Some of my students struggle more than others but they all naturally want to be active!The wobbly chairs would allow my students to have some range of motion to address their desires to be moving. The wobbly chairs are fun for the kids but most importantly the chairs help them stay engaged in the lesson. Their bodies are still yearning to roam and jump and move around but the chairs at least help subside some of this energy. I would utilize these chairs to help them adjust their bodies as I work on keeping their minds engaged with interesting learning plans.
