I teach middle school at a Title I public school in a small rural community. Some students have never travelled farther than 50 miles from home. The average per capita income is $17,225. The county's poverty level is greater than 22%. My goal is to enhance the education of my students by providing them with supplies and experiences to help them grow in the way they view themselves and their world.
