Students use computers every day. This year, we do not have any provided to our class. We use some class days as work days, where they can use my class time to get help from me and each other to complete any work they have from any class. They also use many google applications to access, work on, and turn in assignments for our class. Not only do computers assist in presenting content, students learn typing skills, online safety, and accountability by having chrome books readily available. Without Chromebooks, I cannot fully serve my students, and they cannot get the best out of my class. When we have computers in the class, the amount of paper we use is drastically decreased, and reading pieces of writing and giving effective, accessible instructions as a class is made easier ten times over. They use me as a sounding board, math expert, editor in chief, and dictionary to get their homework, projects, and essays completed to the best of their ability. Chromebooks have become a necessity in many classrooms, including ours!
