The rug is bright, fun and educational. Having this rug in the room will give each student a place to go as soon as they walk in the room. Instead of focusing on who they are sitting next to, the students can go right to a music symbol based spot. This will give us more time for actually doing music! The circle shape will help us in traditional dance games. We play and dance and the circle will help us keep our shape. The rug also has musical symbols on it that will help us learn and review these terms. The giant staff in the middle will also be great to use. We can use our whole bodies to understand moving up and down the staff. Also, we are sitting on the main carpet in my room so it will be great for posture to be sitting on something. All 600 students in the schools will get to use this fabulous rug!
