I teach 20 bright and energetic children from mostly low income neighborhoods who are ready and willing to rise to the daily challenges presented to them by CCSS and the 21st century. For many of our students, school oriented technology is not involved in their home lives. Our school is moving toward a more modern, updated approach using technology in each classroom and in a computer lab. I hope to give the students an advantage they might not get at home and on par with the more affluent schools nearby. I currently have 1 iPad to use with my students. I would ultimately like to have 5-6 iPads for my student centered lessons during math and science.
