It's no secret that students learn better when they are interested in what they are learning about. My students will use these resources to find and create materials that connect with their learning targets. Digital resources are one of the ways that help better reflect their individuality and creativity. I provide use of materials ranging from Kahn Academy, CommonLit, NoRedInk, Google suite, not to mention the school learning platform Canvas. Aside from using technology to assist me, I encourage students to find ways to utilize technology to demonstrate their own learning. In the past students have created book trailers, and choose your own adventure stories just to name a few. Multiple classrooms share the few computer carts we already have, and with a growing school, it is getting more difficult to have access to the laptops. Many of my students utilize this technology to build innovative projects that propel their learning.
