I am looking to create a contemporary classroom library to encourage my students to find enjoyment in reading. The books I currently have are of low interest to students, and I would like to create a library where students can find high interest materials in order to find enjoyment in reading. Compared to students who don't read, people who read a lot know more, express themselves better when speaking and writing and are more prepared for college level work. That is why it is important to get students interested in reading again. My passion is reading and helping a student find enjoyment in the stories they read is one of the best feelings there is as a teacher.
