I teach in a wonderful community near Boston. I have a class of 25 fourth grade students who are working hard to transition from our state standards to the new Common Core national standards. This group of students vary in ability and need. I have students who struggle in math, students who struggle in writing, students who use iPads to write on a regular basis, students with ADHD...but all my students are amazing and incredible and work to the best of their ability every single day. The school community is supportive, helpful, and kind. I have worked here teaching fourth grade for the last nine years, and because of the staff and families in this school, I hope to retire here!
